Ones already enrolled in our bachelor’s degree courses, must at least attain 9 credits each semester in the last academic year, and the average total score of the two semesters of the last academic year must be 70 or above, as well as active participation in relevant activities conducted by the International Affairs Office. Description | In order to encourage foreign students to choose the University for study, as well as to award existing foreign students with outstanding records, the “Cheng Shiu University Foreign Student Scholarship Implementation Directions” (hereafter known as the Directions) are established in accordance with Article 14 of the “Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan”. |

1. During the scholarship application period, new students scheduled to attend the University should submit the scholarship application at the same time as applying for admission. Current students should submit the application within one week after the start of the first semester of every academic year. The following documents should be submitted for application: (1) Application form (Appendix 10: Scholarship Application Form for International Students). (2) The Chinese or English translated full transcript from original graduating school (Ones holding a foreign school transcript should be authenticated by a local embassy or office of Taiwan), or original transcripts for the last academic year (both semesters). (3) 1 recommendation letter (for students scheduled to attend, the recommendation letter can be the same as the one used to apply for admission). 2. In response to international talent cultivation and the demand for Chinese-speaking SEA Taiwanese business talents from the Ministry of Education, and in conformity to national policies and to suit school development, we encourage foreign students from Dong Nai, Vietnam to apply for admission to the University. Thus, relevant regulations and incentives are formulated. (1) Master's degree program applicants must attain at least 6 credits every semester with a score for conduct of 80 or above. Doctorate degree program applicants must attain at least 9 credits with a score for conduct of 80 or above. All criteria above must be met without being subject to disciplinary actions, and the student must actively participate in relevant activities conducted by the International Affairs Office. (2) For subjects meeting the conditions above, in addition to paying US$500 per semester per person during studies, the dormitory fees for every semester shall be paid by scholarship winners from Dong Nai, Vietnam in full depending on room type. Living expenses, insurance premium, and book fees must be covered by the scholarship winners from Dong Nai, Vietnam in full. (3) Scholarship winners from Dong Nai, Vietnam must report to the appointed faculty and administrative office as specified by the International Affairs Office for 6 hours of volunteer work. |
