Application documents

1. Documentary proof of nationality :

a. Passport

b. Those applicants who meet the provisions of Article 2, Clause 2, or Article 3 of the “MOE Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan”need to submit documents in accordance with their identity, such as: permit of ROC nationality revocation, entry and exit records, affidavit of no household registration in the ROC, or other supporting documents.

2. Declaration for international degree student applicants : Please downlaod at https://international.ntua.edu.tw/download/list/type/19 , print, and sign it.

3. Academic qualification certificates in Chinese or English

a. Bachelor's degree program applicants: high school (or above) graduation certificate b. Master's degree program applicants: Bachelor's degree (or above) certificate

c. Doctorate degree program applicants: Master's degree (or above) certificate

4. Transcript over years, in Chinese or English a. Bachelor's degree program applicants: transcript over the years for high school (or above) studies b. Master's degree program applicants: transcript over the years for Bachelor's degree (or above) studies

c. Doctorate degree program applicants: transcript over the years for Master's degree (or above) studies 5. Study plans in Chinese or English a. Every applicant is required to make a study plan.

b. In cases where the department/graduate school the student wishes to apply requires a particular format or number of words for the study plan, please be sure to follow the requirements of the department/graduate school.

6. Financial statement issued by bank

a. Those applicants, who have received scholarships, please upload proof of award.

b. In cases of current application for scholarships, please submit proof of receipt or proof of application from the relevant scholarship application review office.

c. Those applicants, who have not received a scholarship, should please upload proof issued by the relevant bank of fund deposited with at least NTD 200,000 (USD 6,000). If the bank account holder is a person who is sponsoring the applicant student, please attach proof of the relationship with the applicant, signed by the sponsor.

7. Photograph Please upload a frontal color photograph, without headwear, taken within the past six months.

8. Other documents to be submitted Those applicants who meet the provisions of Article 2, Clause 2 or Article 3 of the “MOE Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan” need to submit supporting documents in accordance with their ID status, such as permit of ROC nationality revocation, entry and exit records, affidavit for no household registration in the ROC, and other supporting documents. 9. Additional application documents required by individual department/graduate school.

Departmental Requirements
Specific requirements: 1. Self-introduction in Chinese 2. Study Plan in Chinese 3. Portfolio Chinese proficiency: A certificate of TOCFL B1 level or above, or follows: -- A Chinese autobiography for native Chinese applicants. -- The diploma of last degree earned from courses taught in Chinese. *Those who fail to submit proof of Chinese proficiency will lose eligibility for application.
