Application documents

1. The checklist of required documents for application.

2. Two copies of the completed application form with 2 recent passport photos attached.

3. One original copy of Deposition.

4. One original copy of Authorization

5. One photocopy of passport or other proof of nationality

6. A photocopy of the applicant’s graduation diploma or degree certificate (It must be either authenticated by an ROC overseas representative office, including an embassy, consulate, trade office, or any other agency authorized by the ROC. government or directly sent to Kao Yuan University in a sealed envelope by the school from which the applicant graduated. These documents should be translated into English or Chinese if they are in other languages).

7. One original official transcript verified by an ROC overseas representative office (please attach a Chinese or English translated copy if the document is in a language other than Chinese or English).

8. Financial support statement within the past six months. (It must be either authenticated by an ROC overseas representative office, including an embassy, consulate, trade office, any other agency authorized by the ROC. Government, or directly sent to Kao Yuan University in a sealed envelope by the financial institution). Students with scholarships should attach proof of full amount of scholarship awarded. Financial statement is not the personal account of the applicant; it should be accompanied by the sponsors' Appendix 2: Financial guarantee statement and proof of deposit.

※ A student accepted for admission should submit one duplicate of his/her highest degree diploma, an English transcript, and a certificate of financial statement. Before enrolling, foreign students should offer insurance certificate which covers medical/ injury insurance (verified and authenticated by Taiwan Representative office) at least for the first 6 months since he/she arrived in Taiwan.

9. A copy of Health Record in the last six months (including an HIV test) (Appendix4)

10. Autobiography (under 1000 words, * optional)

11. Study proposal (for graduate program applicants only)

12. Two sealed recommendation letters (for graduate program applicants only)

13. The photocopy of certifications for other capabilities

14. Documents required by applied departments/graduate school/program.

15. Application fee: NTD500 (the exchange rate is subject to the situation if pay in foreign currency) should be paid by remittance to the following account. (Please give a copy of the application fee receipt)

Introduction
  The integration of cosmetics, health care and biotechnology has long been the mainstream of the fashion industry. It is a cross-field industry that not only lowers the cost of raw materials, improves product effectiveness but also conforms to nature, integrate aesthetics, art and medicine, with an effect of reducing stress.
Curriculum planning   The courses are designed to emphasize the professional knowledge and the practical skills, to promote research cooperation with the practical application of relevant industries, and to cooperate closely with factories to proceed sustainable development.
Future map   With Kaohsiung Science Park and Environmental Science and Technology Park in Southern Taiwan nearby, we are located in a prospering biotech-related industry area. With the growth in cosmetics and health care products, graduates f the program can work in various areas without needing further training. These include jobs in the research and promotion of biotechnology, biochemistry, Chinese herbal medicine, health-care products, cosmetics-related industries, cosmetology and hospitality industries.
