Application documents

1. Highest degree's graduation certificate If the graduation certificate is not in Chinese or English, a Chinese or English translation is required.

2. Highest degree's full transcript of records (including explanation of grading system) If the transcript is not in Chinese or English, a Chinese or English translation is required

4. Declaration and Authorization Form

5. Financial statement A bank statement showing at least NT$200,000 (US$6,000) in savings deposit. Scholarship awardees shall provide proof of scholarship.

7. Taiwan Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) (if applicable)

8. Photograph In color and less than 6 months old, showing a close-up shot of the head and shoulders, and without wearing a hat.

Departmental Requirements
1. Language proficiency: Both Chinese and English proficiency certificate/proof required + Chinese Chinese proficiency certificate at CEFR B1 (Threshold) or above(please refer to Chinese Proficiency Test Comparison Chart) -- Not required for applicants whose native language is Chinese (self statement needed) -- Not required for applicants whose previous degree is majoring in Chinese (proof required) + English English proficiency certificate at CEFR C1 (Effective Operational Proficiency) or above(please refer to English Proficiency Test Comparison Chart) TOEFL (iBT) Total score 80 or above, or equivalent level (see reference chart). -- Not required for applicants from English-speaking countries -- Not required for applicants whose previous degree is from English-speaking countries -- Not required for applicants whose previous degree is entirely taught in English (proof required) 2. Documents required by department + Language proficiency certificate (please refer to the "Language proficiency") + Recommendation letter x 2 + Highest degree past-years transcript (with percentile rank in class, GPA and grade description) + Statement of Purpose + Supporting documents( if applicable) [Detail] for example, SAT scores or others (optional) + Self Evaluation Form for NTUEE International Applicants [Detail] All applicants must download and fill out the International Student Self-Evaluation Form, and submit it along with other application documents.
